Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mud Engineer to oversee the formulation, testing, and management of drilling fluids for onshore and offshore drilling operations. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal mud performance to enhance drilling efficiency, maintain wellbore stability, and comply with environmental and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Perform daily mud checks
Generate and submit daily reports using wellsite reporting software
Build and maintain drilling fluids system
Manage mud product inventories and deliveries
Familiarity with client product is a plus
Qualifications
Accredited mud school certification is required
mud engineering: 3 years (Required)
Driver’s License (Required)
South Texas and East Texas (Haynesville) is a plus
