(CA$700 PER DAY AND CA$45 pdm)
We are seeking an experienced Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) Supervisor to oversee and coordinate MPD operations. As an MPD Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all MPD equipment is operated in a safe and efficient manner, and that all drilling activities are performed in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Supervise all MPD activities, including the commisioning, operation, and maintenance of MPD equipment and systems
Develop and implement MPD procedures and policies to ensure safe and efficient operations
Train and mentor MPD crew members to ensure that they understand and follow proper operating procedures and safety protocols
Manage and coordinate MPD operations with other drilling teams and service providers to ensure seamless operations
Monitor and analyze drilling data to identify any issues and recommend solutions to optimize drilling performance
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards related to MPD operations
Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and audits to identify and address any safety concerns
Participate in incident investigations and develop corrective action plans as needed
Prepare reports and documentation related to MPD operations, including cost estimates, drilling performance reports, and safety statistics
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in MPD operations, including experience as an MPD Supervisor
Strong knowledge of onshore MPD packages and systems, as well as drilling operations and procedures
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience with drilling software and data analysis tools
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to MPD operations
